California school districts often give a little to high school sports due to budget constraints and prioritization of academic programs. And in our school district, we receive zero funding for sports. While sports are considered valuable for student development, they are often funded through a combination of booster donations, fundraising, and participation fees, rather than relying solely on district budgets. It is up to the ACA community.
