Saturday, 5/2 was a COLD ONE!  Swimmers don’t usually swim their best in cold weather – but that didn’t stop the Dons from showing up and showing out!  

Only A Relay Teams make it to finals, and our Medley Teams both finished 4th overall!  Malin S, Anna M, Tess V and Anika R swam an NCS Auto time, while the boys team of Braden D, Jayden H, Cruz T and Gunnar G missed the Automatic cutoff by 0.28 seconds, but improved their #10 AHS All-Time entry by 0.02 sec!  

For individual events, the Top 24 from prelims race in an A, B and C final (A being the fastest qualifiers). Ella D finished 6th overall in the 200 Free, with Karly T in 13th, both in NCS Cons times! Sophia S and Finley G were 19th and 20th overall. Braden D finished 6th in the boys race in an NCS Cons time, and Andrew T finished 15th. Aiden C was 18th, Gavin B 22nd.  

Malin S finished 7th overall in the 200IM, with Anna M in 8th. Addison S won the B final, finishing 9th. Perri Smith was 14th. All four ladies swam NCS Cons times!  Jayden H and Charlie H finished 19th and 20th in the boys race.  

Anika R finished 5th overall in the 50 Free JUST off an NCS Auto time (don’t worry, she got it in prelims), while Adelyn H and Jayna G tied for 18th, and Lily B finished 21st.  Gunnar G finished 7th overall in the boys race, with an NCS Cons time. Wilson D was 18th (also an NCS Cons time), Thomas B-K was 19th and Max M was 22nd.  

Tess V finished 6th overall in the 100 Fly, with an NCS Cons time, while Jayna G was 14th and Sophia S 22nd. Cruz T finished 2nd overall in the boys race, improving to #3 on the AHS All-Time list with a time of 50.92 – JUST off the NCS Auto time. Braden D finished 6th and Mason S finished 14th, both in NCS Cons times.  

Ella D finished 3rd overall in the 100 Free in an NCS Cons time, with Sara W finishing 17th and Lily B 21st.  Gunnar G finished 8th overall in the boys race, in an NCS Cons time. Max M was 19th, Andrew T 21st, and Thomas B-K 22nd.  

Karly T finished 6th overall in the 500 Free, with an NCS Cons time.  Aiden C finished 14th, Charlie H 17th and Ryan G 19th in the boys race – with Ryan G dropping over 15 seconds off his time from prelims!  GO RYAN! 

The 200 Free Relay team of Jayna G, Elinor C, Lily B and Ella D finished 5th overall in an NCS Cons time, while the boys finished 6th, JUST off NCS Auto. Wilson D, Andrew T, Max M and Mason S did a great job!  

Malin S finished 3rd overall in the 100 Back, moving up to #4 on the AHS All-Time list with a 58.82, which is also an NCS AUTO time!  GO MALIN! Anika Rehn finished 6th with a NEW #10 on the AHS All-Time list with a 1:00.39, and NCS Cons time.  GO ANIKA!!!  Tess V finished 7th, also in an NCS Cons time.  Cruz T finished 2nd overall in the boys race, with a 52.28 – an NCS AUTO time, and has moved up to #4 on the AHS All-Time list.  GO CRUZ!  Mason S finished 12th in an NCS Cons time, while Dane S was 18th.  

Addison S finished 5th overall in the 100 Breast, in an NCS Automatic time!  Anna M was 7th, Audrey M 13th and Adelyn H 19th, all with NCS Cons times.  Jayden H finished 15th for the guys, with an NCS Cons time. 

The 400 Free Relay team of Malin S, Anika R, Jayna G and Ella D finished 3rd overall in an NCS Automatic time, while the boys team of Gunnar G, Brayden D, Mason S and Cruz T finished 5th, JUST off an NCS Auto time.  

The girls team finished 4th overall, while the boys team finished 5th overall.  GREAT JOB!  NCS Qualifiers are announced Monday, 5/4 – I’ll update with a list of our qualifiers!  NCS Trials are on Friday, May 8 at Miwok Aquatic Center in Novato.  GO DONS!
