It’s been a busy and successful season for boys golf, culminating in the first DAL title in 21 years! The Dons kept it exciting as they won the 18-hole league tournament at Paradise Valley in Vacaville last week by 1 stroke with a final team score of 381. Durham Vail (Jr) and Rocco Stassi (Jr) led the Dons, both with a 71 (-1).

The Dons finished the season with a 15-1 overall record and 7-1 in league play. Shout-outs to Vail, who earned First Team All-League, Stassi and Grant Gebhardt (Jr), who earned Second Team All-League, and Issac Topp (Jr), who earned an Honorable Mention.

On Monday, the team headed north to Arcata to play in the Division 2 North Coast Sectional match at Baywood Country Club. The Dons took 2nd place with a final score of 307, adding a new golf banner to the Chris Heuber Memorial Gym. Congratulations to Durham Vail (Jr), JP Birdwell (So), and Krish Veluthakkal (So), who all secured spots in the Division 1 tournament next week in Windsor. Let’s GO DONS!!!
