Thursday, the fourth of  January at 6pm Acalanes rematch with St. Mary’s-Our House

 

Acalanes Girls basketball is ranked #11 in California. To date, they have lost only one game to the St Mary’s Rams (of Stockton) by five points.  St Mary’s is ranked a tad higher in California than the Dons. Oh…here is the exciting news, the Dons will play the Rams again, next Thursday January 4 at 6 pm at home. Rematch time! Yes…Our house and Fear the Blue!

As the Acalanes basketball season unfolds, keep an eye on these talented Dons, who are poised to make a significant impact on their team.  The Dons are ranked #1 in the Diablo League, #2 in NCS. #4 in NorCal and #11 in California.   Their skills, determination, and competitive spirit will undoubtedly make for an exciting season and game on Thursday January 4 against the Rams. This will be a competitive game to watch, cheer, support of the Dons.  So, kick off the New Year with cheering for your Dons with our ACAcommunity: students, alumni, parents, loud cousins, neighbors… one more time, say it…Fear the Blue!

In the meantime, the Dons will be in San Diego for the 2023 So Cal Holiday Prep Basketball Classic tournament.  The tournament has national recognition and showcases top teams in the nation, with the most powerful teams from California, and bordering states.  Over the years the tournament has grown to over 70 teams coming from as far as Washington, Pennsylvania, Texas, British Columbia, Nevada, Maryland, Florida, Kentucky and Arizona.  Good luck Dons!
