The Dons played a spirited match with strong contributions from their seniors. Alvira again provided consistently hard serves and excellent sets to outside hitters Ruebner, Hill, and Stewart, who put down numerous kills against the Knights. Following the senior night victory at home over the Knights, the Dons headed to Walnut Creek to take on the formidable Northgate squad. The Dons opened strong with consecutive wins in the first two sets but then saw the Broncos ride back to win the next two. The Dons rebounded in the deciding fifth set with a 15-12 victory to win the match. Shown below are Matt Law, libero Douglas Roberts, and Liam Hill poised to receive a Northgate serve, followed by Joseph Castelli rising far above the Northgate blockers to deliver one of his many ferocious kills. Miles Thomas is shown unleashing one of his many laser serves before jumping into his setter position. Other big contributions were made by junior middle hitters Evan Sverak and Joe Colachico as well as sophomores Maddox Malm and Avyn Morales, who delivered some critical points in the final and deciding set.
