Boys Varsity Tennis Team Qualifies for NCS Team Tournament; Player Awards Also Announced

The NCS (North Coast Section) team tournament kicks off Tuesday, May 10.  There are 15 teams entered in Division 2.  Top-seeded Head-Royce is the only team to draw a first-round bye.  Acalanes is the #6 seed and will host Oakland’s College Prep High School at 3:30 PM Tuesday. The Cougars are the #11 seed.  If the Dons win, we would play again Thursday against the winner of the contest between #3 Branson and #14 San Domenico.  The higher seeded team hosts.
Two sets of awards were announced over the past couple of weeks.  Acalanes team awards and DAL All-League Awards.
