The scores have been tallied, and with a final total of 100 points, the Boys are your 2022 DAL Champions, claiming their first League Title since 2013! The Girls finish as runners-up and send a large group on to NCS Tri-Valley, which is this Saturday, 5/14, at Freedom High School.

With a margin of victory of only 9 points (100 to Campolindo’s 91), in addition to the big scorers, the boys owe a lot of their team title to:

• Justin Zegarowski’s huge performance in the triple jump
• Logan Farzan running the 4×400 with one shoe
• RC Means stepping up and dropping a 3 second PR in his 4×400
• Michael Kuhner’s out of nowhere 2nd place in the 110 Hurdles

Boy’s Long Jump: Trevor Rogers – 21’10”

Also a huge shout out to the Girls High Jump Squad (Haley Chelemedos, Dulcinea Vail, Carly Harriman, and Portia Seymour) taking spots 1,2, 3, and 5 in the High Jump! Acalanes is the only team in the state of California to have 3 girls clear 5’1” in the state of California – how bout that??
