That JV Lady lacrosse Dons took on a mighty Piedmont High team and came within inches of a last-minute victory. The Dons tied Piedmont 11 to 11 but in the last 20 seconds Maia Upp made an almost perfect shot that hit barely missed by hitting the cross bar of the goal. Maia had already scored four goals in the game. The Dons came back from a 7 to 3 deficit in the game. The Lady Dons fought hard. The hustle and effort were amazing, and Piedmont was shocked at how good these Lady Dons are.

Next victory will be Friday night at home against Miramonte!
