Track and Field defeats Las Lomas to improve to 2-0, Boys 4×100 nears school record

Ethan Torres, Paul Kuhner, and Kyle Bielawski sweep the varsity boys 100

Traveling to Las Lomas for their first and only away DAL meet, both girls and boys track and field claim dominant victories over the Knights, with scores of 79-58 (girls) and 84-25 (boys). Photos of the meet can be seen here, and full results are recorded here.

After a strong leg from Haley Chelemedos led the girls 4×100 to a victory and improved time of 51.29, the boys followed up with an NCS #1 performance of 42.60, just 0.03 seconds off the school record of 42.57 set in 1987. Catch the race below! The Dons never looked back after that point, and multiple sweeps in the sprint, jumps, and throws carried the team through the rest of the meet.

The team travels to several invitationals this weekend, and will return home to face Northgate on Tuesday.
