The Dons defeated the Pirates on their home turf soundly in Monday’s action.  A strong defense and midfield led by Olivia Parnell, Ellie Ives, Maggie Saracevic and Hallie Orear kept the Pirates off the scoreboard.  The Dons had many shots on goal with Emily Keeler finally opening the scoring before half from the left wing.  A nice performance by our freshmen Lauren Yee added a goal off a nice ball sent into the box by Lue Van Handel.  The game was capped off when a resounding free kick at 25 yd out was sent into the upper corner by Olivia Parnell.

The Dons will travel to Alameda on Friday to take on Encinal.  Game time at 4pm.
