In Fridays action…
Eliza Bates won the DAL singles championship and Jasmine Toni won the third place match.
The football team defeated Alhambra HS 44-38. The jv team also won 38-25.
The boys water polo team defeated Northgate HS in the DAL JV tournament.
In Saturdays action…
The girls volleyball team got off to a slow start in the first game against San Marin HS in the NCS quarterfinals. After the 18-25 loss, they dropped the next game 23-25. Then they caught fire winning the next two games 25-13 and 25-11. The fifth game was close as the Dons pulled out the 15-12 victory. They advance to the NCS semifinals Wednesday.
Note: At all NCS playoff games, there is an admission charge. $10 general admission and $6 for students, children and senior citizens. No passes or ASB stickers will be honored.
