Wrestling has come to an end. With a young team we continue to expand the girls program and rebuild the boys. We sent 4 boys and 4 girls to NCS. Acalanes brings home champion at DAL Wrestling

Saturday was a long arduous 14 hour tournament. Acalanes wrestlers persevered and 8 of our wrestlers moved on to NCS next week. Senior Hunter Goyert took 1st in the 140 bracket and went undefeated in league this year. Freshman Kirian Gracie took 4th place in the 115 bracket. The Dons brought only 6 wrestlers and were still able to finish 11th out 43 teams. This was a big tournament full of great wrestlers. Acalanes won tonights dual by a final score of 48 to 32 against the Mt Diablo Devils. Mateo Picard started the Dons out with his first pin of the year. The Varsity Girls went to the Red Devil Scuffle and with only 4 girls won the tournament. Olivia Banks and Dakota Goyert both took 1st place. The Girls went to the Roger Briones tournament in San Leandro on Saturday.  It was a 12-hour tourney.
