Acalanes Boys Varsity Golf started the week strong at Contra Costa Country Club with a nice win over Miramonte, a regular top team in the league. The Dons won the match 201-209.

Once again, Rocco Stassi (So) led the team with a 38 which tied for best overall score for both teams. Other top contributors for the Dons included Brody Greenfield (Sr) with a 39, Naveen Ahuja (So) with a 40, and Krish Veluthakkal (Fr) with a 41.

On Tuesday, Ahuja proved that practice doesn’t have to be boring when he made his first hole-in-one on the 14th hole at Contra Costa…Shirley Temples for everyone!

In yesterday’s Varsity match the Dons walked away victorious once again beating Northgate 201-209 in tough windy conditions. Sophomore Naveen Ahuja led the Dons with a score of 35. Naveen started bogey, bogey, but then turned in three birdies to finish the day under par! Rocco Stassi (So) continued his great play with a 3 over 39, and Durham Vail (So) helped the Dons with a solid 41 in his first match with the team.
