October 10, 2024: Acalanes hosted the buzzing Berkeley High School Yellowjackets. The Dons faced a stinging defeat, losing 18 to 5. Sophomore Will Miller brought his A-game, scoring 3 goals and tossing in 2 assists like DDT! Freshman Owen Andre got in on the action with a goal, while junior Thomas Parrott not only scored but also snagged 4 impressive steals—talk about a double whammy! Freshmen Alex Lavoie and senior Justin Rosenblatt each contributed an assist, while senior Rocco Fraioli and freshman Charlie Holmes snagged a steal each.

Even with a rough ride, the Acalanes crew showed grit and teamwork like champs! Onward and upward, they’re pumped to sharpen their game in upcoming practices. The next showdown against the top 100 nationally ranked Northgate Broncos is tonight, Wednesday, October 16, at Northgate High and will be yet another opportunity to demonstrate teamwork and resilience despite the odds!
