The Dons Varsity Lacrosse season started off last Tuesday with a fast-paced, intense game against the San Ramon Valley Wolves. Our boys came fired up and it showed in their first-half play keyed off a stellar Offensive performance driven by the strong shooting and scoring displays by Owen Estee (5 goals), Dylan Olson (8 shots), Cooper Olson (5 shots), Zach Appel (3 goals) and David Dapaepe (1 goal). Shout out to rising stars Marshall Anderson (1 goal) and Simon Appel for their material contributions to the team effort. FOGO  Ben Foox (Foooooox!) continued to rise to the challenge and won over half his Face Offs. The Dons Defense, anchored by George Churchill (ground ball machine), John Cain, Connor Faust, and Goalie Blake Chehlaoui (7 saves) were equally as dominant as their Offensive brethren.  The second half saw the Dons fall victim to penalties and begin to lose momentum. Luckily, our boys fought hard and claimed a decisive victory over the once-powerful Wolves by a score of 12-7.
