September 14, 2022 

Acalanes hosted Sacred Heart Prep Wednesday evening. SHP squeaked by with a goal in the last seconds of the game making the final score Acalanes 6 – Sacred Heart Prep 7. 

Adrianna Berloui scored the first goal for Acalanes  in the first quarter. 

In the second quarter goalkeeper Hanna Mirzai looked like Elastigirl when she stretched as far as she could to block a shot off her fingertips. Arianna Berloui scored with an assist from Adrianna. Sienna La Rotonda pressured the SHP player allowing Jenny Haugner to strip the ball from her. Adrianna scored with an assist from Kate Roberts. Bella Bundy played aggressive defense, forcing a turnover. 

In the third quarter Arianna scored with an assist from Olivia Whipple. 

In the fourth quarter Arianna scored with an assist from La Rotonda. Alexis Sappal put the pressure on the SHP player forcing a turnover. Haugner scored with an assist by Whipple. 

The next JV game is Saturday, September 17th at 11:00 am at Acalanes. The Lady Dons host San Ramon Valley.
