Friday night brought beautiful weather for soccer and the fans showed up in force.    The Dons set the tone with a “first to the ball” aggressiveness.  Early on Ella Alpert gathered the ball in midfield and made a great pass to a flying Lauren Yee on the right wing who shot it low and hard to the far post 1-0.    Minutes later a similar pass from Lue Van Handel found Lyla Cox in the right wing-  With the defender losing the foot race she fouled Lyla in the box.  Lyla calmly slotted the penalty home 2-0.  The second half found the defense keeping the Broncos from penetrating their lines.  Another clean sheet for the defense and keeper Kylie Quinn!  The evening was capped off with a one touch through ball from Brooke Palma to Emmi Cronin who made no mistake one on one with the keeper.  Final 3-0 bringing their record to an impressive 14-0-1.
