The Acalanes Dons Softball had four players recognized for their outstanding seasons with Diablo Athletic League All-League honors.
Sophomore June Natal earned First Team All-League honors after an impressive season for the Dons. Natal led the team in league play with a .482 batting average while serving as a steady force at shortstop and batting third in the lineup. Whether delivering key hits in clutch moments or making standout defensive plays, Natal consistently impacted the game on both sides of the ball. Her performance earned recognition from every coach in the league, making her a unanimous First Team selection.
Junior Santana Tamayo was named Second Team All-League following a powerful season at the plate and in the field. Tamayo led the Dons with four home runs and anchored the corner infield at third base with strong defensive play throughout the season. Batting cleanup in the lineup, she provided consistent power and leadership in the middle of the order.
Junior Vanessa Choi received Honorable Mention All-League recognition after contributing in a variety of ways for the Dons this season. Choi showcased her versatility by excelling in both the outfield and middle infield while also becoming a key offensive spark in the leadoff spot late in the season. Her speed, athleticism, and defensive play made her an important part of Acalanes’ success.
Junior Gabby Huerta also earned Honorable Mention All-League honors after a strong season behind the plate as the team’s starting catcher. Huerta provided steady leadership and energy defensively while consistently coming through with timely hits offensively. Her toughness and presence behind the plate played a major role in the Dons’ successful season.
