On Thursday, the Dons traveled to Dublin to talk on Emerald High School and lost a close match 6-5. It was played in an 8 game pro set format rather than full 3 set matches.
On the singles side, Liza Sokolova lost 8-4 at Line 1, Audrey Tseng lost 8-6 Line 2, Jasmine Taylor lost 8-2 at Line 3, Averly Ammerman lost 8-1 at Line 4, Emily Stern won 8-1 at Line 5, Louie Kubas won 8-5 at Line 6, and Carissa Penn won 8-1 at Line 7. On the doubles side, Grace Colaco and Sadie Moise lost 8-5 at Line 1, Riley Zirkel and Delphine Fisher lost 8-6 at Line 2, Gemma Satterfield and Tatum Duff won 8-6 at Line 3, and Maddie Obertello and Livvy Lewis won 8-1.
The team continues the roadtrip after the Labor Day Weekend, taking on Bishop O’Dowd at Merritt College on Tuesday, September 8th @ 4pm
