On Thursday, the Girls Varsity Tennis team returned home to take on rival Campolindo High School. The girls had a strong showing, winning three of the six singles lines. Audrey Tseng was named player of the match. She had to step up and play line 1 singles, and lost in a tough battle 6-4, 6-3 that went over 2 hours.

Jasmine lost 6-0, 6-0
Averly won 7-6, 6-1
Emery won 4-6, 6-3, 1-0 (10-7)
Louie won 6-1, 6-2
Carissa lost 3-6, 7-6, 1-0 (10-8)
Sadie and Grace lost 6-4, 6-0
Riley and Hetty lost 6-1, 6-2
Gemma and Maddie lost 6-1, 6-2
Also on the singles side, Jasmine Taylor lost 6-0, 6-0 at Line 2, Averly Ammerman won 7-6, 6-1 at Line 3, Emery Stern won 4-6, 6-3, 1-0 (10-7) at Line 4, Louie Kubas won 6-1, 6-2 at Line 5, and Carissa Penn lost a tight match 3-6, 7-6, 1-0 (10-8) at Line 6. On the doubles side, Grace Colaco and Sadie Moise a 6-4, 6-0 at Line 1, Riley Zirkel and Hetty Lofting lost 6-1, 6-2 at Line 2, and Gemma Satterfield and Maddie Obertello lost 6-1, 6-2 at Line 3.
