On Tuesday, the Girls Varsity Tennis team traveled to Pleasant Hill to take on College Park. The girls had a very nice win with a score of 8-1. Delphine Fisher was named player of the match.
On the singles side, Liza Sokolova won 6-1, 6-2 at Line 1, Audrey Tseng won 6-0, 6-0 at Line 2, Jasmine Taylor won 6-3, 6-4 at Line 3, Emery Stern lost 6-1, 6-3 at Line 4, Louie Kubas won 6-0, 6-0 at Line 5, and Alessa Smith won 6-0, 6-2 at Line 6. On the doubles side, Carissa Penn and Maddie Obertello won 6-3, 6-0 at Line 1, Delphine Fisher and Livvy Lewis won 6-2, 6-0 at Line 2, and Gemma Satterfield and Lotta Griemens won 6-4, 6-1. In the extended match, Riley Zirkel and Hetty Lofting won 8-1.
The team’s next match is at home against Miramonte on Thursday, September 24th @ 4pm
