JV’s tennis team opened the season with an impressive road performance at the Carondelet Athletic Complex, where the visiting Dons swept Carondelet 12-0. The singles lineup set the tone early, and the doubles teams followed with the same focus and consistency, giving Acalanes a strong all-around win.

In singles play, Ela Gozoren led the way with an 8-1 win at Line 1, showing strong court coverage and confident shot-making. Kennedy Wilson was dominant at Line 2 with an 8-0 victory, staying focused from start to finish. At Line 3, Katie Lager played with great consistency and control in another 8-0 win. Sara Tsang earned an 8-1 victory at Line 4, using steady groundstrokes and smart placement throughout the match. Lulu Lancour battled well at Line 5 and came away with an 8-2 win, showing patience and determination. Hanna Rahmatian completed the singles sweep at Line 6 with an 8-0 win, playing confidently and keeping pressure on her opponent.

The doubles teams continued the momentum with six more wins. At Line 1, Brooke and Avery played a strong match together, communicating well and finishing points at the net in an 8-0 win. Rory and Quinn were sharp and composed at Line 2, earning another 8-0 victory with steady teamwork. In Line 3 doubles, Riya and Ha Long stayed consistent and worked well as a pair, taking their match 8-3. Ella and Perrin played with energy and confidence at Line 4, cruising to an 8-0 win. At Line 5, Morgan and Sage showed great focus in an 8-4 victory, staying calm during longer rallies. Aly and Olivia rounded out the day at Line 6 with an 8-4 win, showing determination, teamwork, and solid doubles strategy.

It was a complete team effort for the Dons, who showed depth, focus, and strong sportsmanship across every line. With confident singles play and steady doubles teamwork, our JV’s tennis team earned a well-deserved 12-0 win on the road.
