Mat Grit & Momentum: ACA Wrestling’s Strong Finish at NCS

ACA Wrestling closed out a strong, hard-fought season at NCS with a 4–2 league record and plenty to be proud of. The team demonstrated toughness and determination all season, qualifying for the NCS Duals for the first time in six years, sending 13 wrestlers to the NCS, and advancing three to the NCS Championships, a testament to their relentless work ethic and competitive edge.

While we didn’t have any state qualifiers or NCS Masters medalists this year, the performances were still bursting with fight and tenacity. Gwyneth Lee went 2–2 and finished in the top 12 in her section, wrestling with poise, resilience, and strong mat awareness. Lilah battled through a tough bracket with steadfast composure, never backing down from a challenge. Kirian showed true wrestler fortitude, competing fearlessly before having to withdraw due to injury.

Overall, it was a season defined by team cohesion, personal growth, and relentless effort. Kudos to our Coaches who instilled a championship mindset, building momentum and setting a strong foundation for what’s ahead. To our parents, thank you for the early morning rides and the cheers in the stands.  A special thanks to our team mom for the countless unseen volunteer hours!

To our Seniors (Those present in-person and in Spirit), Good Luck and Thanks for the Memories!  To our returning wrestlers, parents, and coaches, we can’t wait to hit the mats with you again next season!

GO Dons!
