January may still be on the calendar, but Spring Sports are already calling! We are one month away from the Spring Season. Tryouts kick off on February 9, and the fields, courts, pools, and tracks are getting ready for action. This spring lineup is stacked—baseball, softball, boys golf, boys tennis, track, boys volleyball, girls lacrosse, boys lacrosse, beach volleyball, stunt cheer, swimming & diving—and a big shoutout to our sports club of Rugby. That’s over 500 Dons lacing up, diving in, and bringing that DONstastic energy to the Spring!
Before you suit up, one quick pit stop: every Don needs to submit medical clearance to our Athletic Department. If you played a fall or winter sport, you’re good to go. New athletes, don’t wait…get it done early so nothing stands between you and tryouts.
1. Complete Acalanes Athletic Clearance PDF:
- Fill out “Medical History” on pages 1, 2 & 3. Most of page 4 is for the physician to complete.
- Bring ALL 4 pages to the physician to review

2. Schedule with your doctor – or suggest other locations like Stat Med, etc:
- Important: Be sure to leave your appointment with the final page of the physical form. This page must include the doctor’s name, signature, and stamp, along with a clearly written player name and birth date.
- This last (fourth) page is the one you will upload in Step #3, so don’t leave without it!
3. Register your athlete on SportsNet – and upload the completed medical clearance page:

- Please note: Both you and your athlete will need to electronically review and agree to all school policies and the code of conduct during the registration process.
- When you reach the “Physical Examination” section near the end of the SportsNet registration, be sure to select the “Upload” button to submit the completed form.
- After you finish your SportsNet registration, you will receive a confirmation email. The Acalanes Athletic Department will then review your submission and finalize clearance. Once approved, you’ll receive a follow-up email confirming your athlete’s clearance
