Acalanes’ baseball team won the 2025 NCS Division 2 championship, defeating Rancho Cotate 7‑1, and now the Dons are stepping onto an even bigger stage. Oracle Park, home of the San Francisco Giants, is calling, and it’s time for the Acalanes community to answer! On Saturday, April 18, in a night game, Acalanes will face Marin Catholic in a preseason showdown. This is more than a game; it’s a celebration of everything that makes our Acalanes community special: unity, fun, pride in our roots, and a night under the Bay lights. Dons Show Up!

Imagine the roar of the crowd as the Dons take the field, the jumbotron flashing their names, and a wave of blue filling the stands. Every cheer, clap, and chant will lift these players and remind them: we’re all in this together. We are ACA!
This game is also a fundraiser for the Dante’s Boys Foundation, honoring the legacy of beloved coach Dante Benedetti while supporting youth sports across the Bay Area. Dante’s passion for mentorship and athletics lives on, giving young athletes access to programs, guidance, and inspiration that shape their futures both on and off the field. Every ticket purchased is a win for our SF Bay Area community, our Dons, and the love of the game.
We’re aiming for 700 Don fans, but let’s dream bigger. Let’s make it 1,000! Picture a sea of blue: families, alumni, students, and neighbors all united to cheer on our team. This is the night to cheer, and expereince a once-in-a-lifetime moment. Think about it: a Don home run down the line over Oracle Park’s 310-foot fence, a Don taking a daring steal of home, or a Don’s pitcher striking out three in a row! Coach Merken shared that with the Dons’ bats this year, we just might see one soar into McCovey Cove.
Tickets go on sale in mid-January at www.go.fan.co. Grab your friends, bring your family, and let’s make Oracle Park feel like…Home of the Dons!
ALL IN!
