Acalanes dominated the first 15 minutes of the match.  Our midfield and forwards kept up a constant attack on College Park’s defense not letting the ball into our defensive third.  Ruby Coy was a thorn in CP’s side pressuring and threatening to score.  Allie Schofield was the first player to find the back of the net making it ACA 1, CP 0. This ignited College Park which launched several counter-attacks.  Courtney Hamill stepped up and thwarted several threatening advances.  Eventually College Park snuck one in tying the game 1:1 before the half.  

Our team was looking great to start the second half.  They had great chemistry controlling possession, building from the back.  The keepers were proving tough with great saves by both College Park and Alexa Bantique minding the goal for Acalanes.  

Finally, CP kicked a long-ball with a massive bounce that went over the top of our defense creating a one on one striker vs. keeper that led to CP scoring their second.  College Park wins the third game of the series with two wins.  Final Score Acalanes 1, College Park 2.
