VARSITY BOYS LACROSSE FACE TOUGH DIVISION 1 OPPONENT, MONTE VISTA, AND LOSE 17-0

As the season opened, the varsity boys team pegged Monte Vista as the toughest opponent they would face. They were not wrong. The team faced off against this Division 1 team stacked with multiple D-1 college commits up and down the field. The Mustangs took a decisive lead early on and dominated the first quarter forcing Acalanes defense in to high gear. By the second half, Acalanes had a few more offensive plays with close shots from sophomore Jan Korzeniowski, junior Brody Darin and senior Marshall Anderson. Freshman Grant Condy and junior Levi Mason traded off at face offs. Outstanding defense all around. Playing teams at this level build grit and steel the defense for the next battle. The boys look forward to this Friday’s home game at 7pm against Cal High.
