The Lady Don golfers started the season right with a 283-295 victory over the Matadors at their always challenging home course, Orinda Country Club. Led by varsity returners Haley and Hana Chelemedos, who punished their opponents with an 18 shot victory, this season’s new Lady Don Golfers Taylor Baker (sophomore), Miracle Gu (freshman), Jordan Huskins (sophomore) and Grace Wolpert (sophomore), held on to seal the season opening victory. The Lady Don’s golfers are up Thursday vs. Los Lomas at Boundary Oaks golf course where juniors Hayley Takeshima and Campbell Evans will make their season debuts.
