The Acalanes Women’s Varsity Soccer team traveled to Oakland Tech in the first of 3 games this week and came away with a 4-0 victory. Junior Ella Thomason started the scoring from just outside the box, off an assist from senior Jacque Peacock. Peacock added the next two goals, one from a great drive down the right sideline, assisted by senior Cam Salazar, and another by taking advantage of a turnover deep in Tech’s territory. Acalanes led 3-0 at the half. Senior Tatum Zuber rifled in the final goal from 30 yards out. Oakland Tech made a number of forays into Acalanes’ territory only to be turned away by our stout defense, led by sophomore center back Demi Woods and goalies Melisa Adatepe and Catherine Judson. 

The Dons are hosting Bethel on Wednesday, December 7th at 7:00pm and Deer Valley on Friday, December 9th at 7:00pm.
