First league game against YVH was a battle. The teams looked equally matched for most of the game. Senior, Eli Roth was able to secure a goal from a turnover in the first half for 1-0 start to the second half. Senior, Cory Key fought hard with his teammates to keep game competitive. At the end 2 goals from the opponent handed Dons their first loss. The Dons gave so much effort despite being short handed with several illness on the team. Final score 1-2. Come rally for your Varsity boys this Thursday at Northgate High at 7pm, Junior Varsity at 5pm, Freshman at 3:30pm. Then Friday for Varsity at De La Salle verse St. Mary’s Hight at 4pm.
