On a cold night during finals week, the JV Girls Soccer team faced a tough College Park Falcons squad on the road to open league play.

College Park struck first with a breakaway goal in the first half but the Dons immediately answered with a long arching shot from Danica Green to even the score 1-1. From the left side, Green hammered the ball roughly 30 yards just over the outstretched reach of the Falcons’ goalie.

The second half saw a balanced game from both sides. The Dons and Falcons both had nice runs and close calls but were both unable to add to their totals. The game finished in a 1-1 tie.

The Dons are now 4-1-2 overall and 0-0-1 in DAL play. Next up is a home match on Thursday against Northgate.
