The Acalanes Girls Varsity Team ended their regular season play at home Tuesday with a loss to Miramonte. The Dons solo match won was by Senior and Captain Analese (Ari) Ruczynski in a thrilling three setter. After going down 1-6, she flipped the script against her opponent and won the second set 6-1. That took it to a narrow 12-10 third set tie breaker for the win!

It was also an afternoon to celebrate the seniors with a pre-match recognition. The team has nine seniors: Analese Ruczynski, Ashley Donner, Cate Condy, Emily Berkowitz, Kailyn Broad, Marcela Wisniewska, Martha Burns, Rachel Gottfried, and Shipley Duff. Family members and friends gathered for a short presentation and pictures.

The Varsity Girls will participate in the DAL Championships next week. Good luck!
