Acalanes is excited to announce the addition of two new coaches for Girls’ Varsity Tennis:
Coach Janice Metzger, was a competitive junior and college player and is excited to get out on the Acalanes courts with the girls and build on last year’s successes. Acalanes own Social Studies teacher Joe Schottland is also stepping up as the Assistant Varsity coach.
JV will return both of its coaches Lee Ann Gove and Gary Fiamengo. Should be a great season, as both teams will have many returning starters.
Tryouts are open to all and the schedule is as follows.
- MONDAY, AUGUST 8, 3-5P for VARSITY & 5-6:30P for JV
- TUESDAY, AUGUST 9, 3-5P both VARSITY & JV
- WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 10 for JV ONLY
