The Lady Dons beat Miramonte Wednesday night 68 to 48 to improve to 15 and 2 on the season and 4 and 0 in league. It was the 13th straight win for the girls who improved to 4 and 0 in league. After a slow first few minutes, the Dons assumed control with aggressive full court pressure which completely overwhelmed Miramonte. The lead was 14 at the half and stretched to 20+ early in the 3rd, as for all practical purposes it was over. Karyss Lacanlale was the high scorer with 18, Sophie Chinn added 17 and Emily Du scored 14. Natalie Lyons had a standout game as far as hustle goes, creating multiple turnovers and grabbing many key rebounds. The girls are in action next against Northgate Friday night at home at 7pm.
