VARSITY keeping in the battle!

Last Tuesday, boys tied Ygnacio Valley High, 0-0. Liam Murdin received “Man of Match.” We had solid defense with many shots to the goal that almost scored! Thursday was a heated game agains rival, Las Lomas High, ending in 0-0 tie. Jake Boselli had incredible saves. The boys played hard against opponent. They were able to hold down a tough team with our fantastic defense & many shots that ALMOST went in goal again! Liam McGlynn received “Man of the Match.” Saturday, played against Pittsburgh High, losing 0-1 in the last few minutes of the game. Boys fought hard against a solid team. Varsity has the skill and the passion to make these games exciting to watch and cheer for! Go Dons!

JUNIOR VARSITY

Last Tuesday, boys played Ygnacio Valley, winning 8-0. Played a split game with the freshman team.  Freshman played first half with Junior, Aaron Brown and Goalkeeper, Cooper Olson. Goals (Assists): Nico White (Aaron Brown), Colby Ebner PK, Nico White (Ben Pecci), Lucas Dissman (Lucian Krage Zillas), Lucas Dissman on breakaway, Lucas Dissman (Colin Malmquist), Lucas Dissman (Cory Krey), Simon Appel. Thursday vs Las Lomas Won 2-0. Corner kick from Andres Evrenosoglu which allowed Lucas Dissman to get a header and a slow roll into the goal 14 minutes into the 1st half, Clement Chow scored on a backside rebound with 2 minutes left in the first half. Saturday vs Pittsburg lost 0-1.
