Dons Fall Athletes Excelled Both On and Off the Field!

With the Fall sports season now behind us, the Acalanes community should recognize and celebrate the outstanding performance of our student-athletes both on and off the playing surface. Our student-athletes from the 22 Fall sports teams garnered numerous all-league awards for their athletic performance including 13 first-team, 16 second-team, and 5 honorable mentions. A complete list of our athletes who received all-league honors is shown below.

In addition to their strong athletic performance, our Fall student-athletes also delivered impressive accomplishments in their academics. The Dons had 218 student-athletes recognized for strong academic performance with a GPA of over 3.5, which is the largest number of athletes ever receiving this honor for Acalanes Fall sports! Over 30% of our student-athletes received Presidents List honors (GPA>3.8) while another 26% received Scholar Athlete honors (GPA>3.5). We’re also proud that 100% of our 22 teams received “Scholar Team” honors for having a team GPA above 3.0 and half of those were above 3.5! Special recognition is deserved for the Varsity football team as they were the NCS Scholastic Champion with the highest overall GPA in Division 3.

Congratulations to a special group of student-athletes as well as our outstanding teachers and administrators that helped make it happen by fostering a strong academic environment and supporting Dons athletics in many ways.
