Freshman Women’s Volleyball team got off to a sluggish start against the Las Lomas Knights on Thursday, October 7th. After a long set of back and forth trading points, the Dons were able to pull out the win 27-25 thanks to the starting line up of Fiona Roux, Emma Seelenbacher, Grace Gallacher, Lily McKinney, Addie Ames, and Emme Cain.
The Dons came out fighting in the second set jumping to quick 9-2 lead. Serving streaks by Emma Seelenbacher, Addie Ames, Lily McKinney and Fiona Roux helped to extend the lead while killer hits from Addison Jones, Addie Ames, Liza Gullberg and Emme Cain sealed the deal.
The third set proved to be a little closer with the Knight fighting to stay alive. In the end, the Dons were able to pull out the win and the team remains undefeated.
Their next game is Tuesday, October 12th at home against Northgate. FEAR the BLUE!
