The Lady Dons capped a wonderful season with a fantastic showing at the League Championship on Friday, securing a 3rd place finish and positioning themselves well for an at-large birth to the North Coast Section playoffs. Incredibly, the Don’s finished with three players shooting in the 80’s…Makena Chelemedos 83, Haley Chelemedos 85 and Kendal Geddes 89. After the championship, Makena and Haley Chelemedos were awarded second team all-league honors and Kendal Geddes was awarded honorable mention all-league honors. With her score of 83, Makena Chelemedos also earned an automatic entry into the NCS tournament, but hopes her teammates will all be selected to join her. The day was rounded out by solid performances from teammates Emmi Cronin, Hana Chelemedos and Juliet Becker (who had first birdie in a tournament!). Great season girls and coaches, congratulations!!
