The  Women’s  JV Volleyball team took on the Las Lomas Knights in their 2nd league game of the year.  The powerhouse defender Mika Bocobo got on a serving run in the 1st set that set the tone and got the Dons to a 7-3 lead.  Next server up “Frostie” Jasmine Foster who served a rocket that flew low over the net and the Knights had no hope of returning.  Mika’s serving rotation comes up again to give the girls a 20-13 lead after she serves 4 in a row.  Outside Hitter, Sofie Wallace gets a kill at 24-16 to close the first set.

There was a struggle at the beginning of the second set and the JV Women found themselves down 1-4. These JV Dons DO NOT like to lose.  They fought back to 4-4, Middle Blocker Tea Smith serving for 2 of those points.  There was some back and forth but then Designated Server Emma Lorge came in and did her job BIG TIME by serving a streak that gave the Dons a 16-9 lead.  At 19-11 the Knights put up a fight on a epic point that saw a dig from Setter Eva Mcgrath, a block from  Tea Smith and a kill from Sofie Wallace.  The lady Dons close out the second set 25-12.
