This Saturday, the Freshman Volleyball Team participated in the Stockton Classic Invitational, finishing an impressive 6th out of 16 – the highest rank of any of the participating public school teams.  They started out the morning breezily winning their first set 2-0.  In round two, their skills were no match for the tournament’s dominant team, and they lost 0-2.  In the third set, despite losing the first game when a second team member went down with a foot injury, the girls rallied and with impressive showing of both offense and defense won the next two excitingly close games, finishing the set 2-1.  In their final set at the end of the day, the girls lost 0-2, finishing 6th overall.
