The Lady Dons improved to 8-0 in league Wednesday night on the road in Moraga. It was a fast start, as the girls raced out to a 12-2 lead and took a 13 pint lead into the half. The lead was extended to 17 in the 3rd quarter, however, Campo came racing back behind a barrage of 3 pointers, Campo was able to force overtime with some clutch shots down the stretch. In overtime the Dons reassumed control behind outstanding court leadership by Kaylee Pong who basically took over down the stretch. Grace Gebharbt lead the way with 26 points and 16 rebounds, while Kaylee Pond scored 16 with 9 rebounds and several key assists. Lauren Kobashigawa added 14, while Lauren Frechman scored 10. The girls are home next week Tuesday and Thursday versus Las Lomas and Alhambra (senior night). A win Tuesday night will clinch an outright league title for the 2nd year in a row.
