In Wednesday's action…

The #3 seeded boys soccer team defeated Sonoma Valley HS 4-0 in the first round of the NCS playoffs.  They host #6 University HS in the NCS quarterfinals Saturday at 5:00.

The #2 seeded girls soccer team defeated Analy HS 1-0 in the first round of the NCS playoffs.  They host #7 Terra LInda HS in the NCS quarterfinals Saturday at 7:00.

Wednesday's individual standouts…

Boys soccer.  Nick Geannacopoulos scored 2 goals and Kade Finegold and Owen Hansen each scored 1 goal.  Max Nelson and Charlie Peacock each had an assist.  Jack Muren had 2 assists and was named "Man of the Match."

Girls soccer.  Addie Bailey scored the lone goal.

Note:  At all NCS playoff games, there is an admission charge.  $11 general admission and $6 for students, children and senior citizens.  No passes or ASB stickers will be honored.
