Freshman Tatum Zuber was a force to be reckoned with on Monday night against undefeated El Cerrito. The Dons played a solid first half, with multiple shots on goal, and stellar defense. With 5 minutes left in the first half, Zuber was able to steal the ball from the defender in front of the goal with a stellar spin move to put the ball in the net to give the Dons a 1-0 lead going into the second half.
Not wasting any time in the second half, again Zuber was able to gain control of the ball on the left side of the goal and pounded the ball into the upper corner to give the Dons a 2-0 lead within the first minute.
With her back to the goal, Senior Maile Broad had a banger when she received a pass from none other than Tatum Zuber to knock the ball in with authority to make the score 3-0.
The Dons are playing extremely well, and you can see they are beginning to really gel as a team. Excellent control, passing, and movement all the way around.
The Dons will travel to Mt. Diablo High School on Wednesday night at 7pm.
