Acalanes Girls Tennis was included in an elite high school team invitational on the campus of Stanford University this past week. 16 teams from So Cal and Nor Cal competed in a round-robin format. All teams play 4 matches as they move through their bracket. While the girls were not able to capture any trophies they competed hard and represented Acalanes well. Many of the schools have very established tennis programs, larger student body enrollment, or are private schools that are able to pool their student body from a larger population base. One of the main goals of this tournament is to face outside competition, create an atmosphere that our newly formed team can build critical team chemistry and expose our student-athletes to the world-class facilities that exist at Stanford University. MISSION ACCOMPLISHED ON ALL FRONTS. GREAT JOB GIRLS!
