The Freshman Dons football team fought a tough battle against Clayton Valley Charter but fell short 32-22 to suffer their first loss of the season. The Ugly Eagles had 307 total yards on offense, all on the ground, with #23 rushing for 223 yards and 2 TDs. The Dons defense was led by Evan Malmquist, Logan Ketchum, Dante Montgomery and Devin Miniello, each with several solo tackles.

The Dons offense was led by Luke Souza, who completed 22-32 passes for 197 yards and 3 TDs. Will Berrien was stellar as he pulled down 7 receptions for 85 yards and a TD. Miles Bergman had 8 receptions for 59 yards and a TD. Rhett Skvarna had 3 receptions for 28 yards and a TD. The offensive line, led by Anthony Ortale, worked extremely hard to fend off a very large and physical Ugly Eagles defensive line.

The Freshman Dons will face Alahambra at home next Thursday.
