Your Dons ventured out to Heritage High School for the East County Invitational on Saturday, to face a deep field of teams from all over the Bay Area.  In match #1, the Dons faced Head Royce, and dropped a very close one 23-25, 25-20, 14-16.  In the second match of the day, the team began to click, and rolled over Maria Carillo 25-13, 25-17.  Match #3 was a spirited affair with San Ramon Valley.  The Dons came out hot, then held off a comeback by SRV, taking the first set 25-21.  SRV kept the momentum in set #2 and won 19-25.  The tiebreaker was tight but SRV pulled away for the 8-15 victory.  The final match of the day did not go well for the worn-out Dons, losing 20-25, 20-25 to Granada High School.

The Dons now regroup and get ready for the showdown at Campolindo on Tuesday night at 6:30pm.  Be there to cheer on the girls and BEAT CAMPO!
