Dons lose 2-7 vs. Miramonte.
It was not the day of the Dons over in Orinda but the level of tennis was high on both sides.
In singles, Zoe Cate and Jasmine Toni, secured the 2 match wins for the Dons with Zoe winning O and O at line 4, and Jasmine winning 3 and 2 at line 3.
Jasmine played some of her finest tennis this season, playing extremely consistent, and hitting a noticeably better ball overall.
Because she UNLEASHED a new brand of tennis to the world and remained mentally tough the whole time, JJ (aka Jaz), is the Dons player of the match!
In doubles, the Dons didn’t fare as well as we’d hoped, but we’ll live to fight another day.
