Congrats for another DAL league win!
In singles, lines 1-6 took care of business right off the bat, with Erin Warenski, sealing the 5th win for the Dons, at line 5. She held strong against an opponent who really wanted to win and pulled off the 3rd set, 10-8, a close one.
In doubles, Campo had 3 strong teams up and down the 3 lines. It was a bit difficult to figure out which team was actually the best.
All three lines of doubles went to a third set tiebreaker with the Dons winning the final match of day at line 3. Naomi Berkowitz and Anika Mohanty stayed tough, winning 6-3, 5-7, 12-10
Naomi’s hustle along the baseline created some amazing points to watch and for that, as well as her win, Naomi Berkowitz is the Dons player of the match!
