5 Dons; Spencer Voogt, Jackson Jones, Nate Cheslog, Patrick Nicosia and Mick Jordan traveled to Livermore March 2nd to compete in the annual 18 hole Cowboy Classic showcasing some of the Bay Areas best teams and golfers on the incredibly beautiful course at Wente Vineyards. Senior Nate Cheslog shot a 75 placing him in the Top 15.
Golf became a grind as 16 Dons faced the Mats on the challenging front 9 at Orinda Country Club Feb. 28th in their first league match of the season. Dons lost by more than a few with Senior Captain Nate Cheslog posting lowest round of team.
What started out as blue skies and shadows at Blue Rock Springs in Vallejo on Feb. 22nd quickly turned to hail & freeze warnings. “It’s currently 39° but feels like 33° .” 12 golfers played and finished the match. Acalanes took home the victory 238-214. Spencer Voogt had a low round match of 39.

The Dons took on Alhambra at Franklin Canyon Golf Club and bested the team by an astounding 53 strokes! Will Condy led the pack shooting a 38, followed closely by Mike O’Donnell and Joe Evans, both shooting 39. Tucker Gannon came in with a 40, Murphy Baker a 41 and Ryan Reilly a 44.
