Led by juniors Makena Chelemedos and Kendal Geddes 40 over 9 holes, and Haley Chelemedos 42, the varsity golf team defeated Las Lomas in a great team win, 222-248, to record their first league victory of the season. Despite impressive birdies from Junior Kendal Geddes (pictured above) and Freshman Haley Chelemedos, the Dons fell to last year’s league champion Northgate Broncos in a closely contested match. Haley Chelemedos posted a team best 42, and Kendal Geddes finished with a 47. The Lady Dons will be looking for a “V” against Las Lomas on Thursday!
